Monetizing Your Website With Adsense Is Profitable!

Q. How do you maximize your site without joining hundreds of affiliate and mlm programs?
A. By earning money per click from displaying Adsense ads on it.
Many website publishers are now realizing that good money is made from this source of revenue.
Google Adsense is a fast and easy way for website publishers of all sizes to display relevant and text-based Google ads on their website’s content pages and earn money in the process. Since the Adsense provides ads that are related to what your users are looking for on your site, it is good marketing sense to display those ads to your visitors.
How much you will be earning will depend on how much the advertisers are willing to pay to have those ads displayed. A lot of this will depend on the keywords you use in your content. If the keywords the advertisers have chosen are in high demand, you could receive more dollars per click. On the other hand, low demand keywords may earn you just a few cents per click.
How can you start making profits with your website using Adsense?
First you must sign up for an Adsense account. It will only take a few minutes of your time and won't cost you a cent.
When the site is accepted (this may take a few days), you will receive a short script to include in the code of your web pages. You can insert this script on as many pages or web sites as you want. The Adsense ads will start appearing shortly after you enter the code and upload the revised page to your server.
You may be earning a few cents or even a few dollars per click when someone starts clicking on the Adsense ads displayed on any of your web pages. Beware, trying to earn revenues by clicking yourself on ads displayed on your own web sites is a no-no. This will most likely result in a penalty or the possibility of your site being banned from the Adsense program. The money you have already earned may be lost because of this.
View your statistics. Adsense earnings can be checked anytime by logging into your Adsense account.
How do you increase your Adsense earnings?
Choose one topic per page. It is best to write content for your page with just a few targeted keywords or phrases. The Google search engine will then serve ads that are more relevant to the content which should result in higher clickthoughs.
Taylor your Adsense ads to your web page format and color scheme. Google Adsense has made it quite simple to pick the layout design, color and size of the ads to compliment your web pages.
Test your ad placement. Many webmasters have found better results with the vertical format that runs down the side of the web page to get more positive results while others have found the rectangle format placed within the text of the page to be more productive. You can, and should, try both horizontal and vertical formats for a certain period of time to see which one will give you better results.
Build more content-based pages. Write more and more content for your website. After all, it is your site and you are the expert so give your visitors (and the search engines) something to think about. Having lots of content can also have the effect of raising the page ranking of your site, and moving it up closer to the top of the listings. This should result in attracting more visitors (potential clicks on your Adsense ads).
So, what are you waiting for, start building those pages and get them posted to your web site and generating money for you. I just did with this short article!

**USEFUL TIP OF THE MONTH**
1. How to create a desktop shortcut"
If you're tired of having to click on the start button just to find your favorite program and start it, you'll be happy to know there is an easier way.
All you need to do is to create a "Shortcut" to the program right on your desktop.
Here's how it's done in any version of Windows.
1. Right click a blank portion of the desktop and choose 'New' from the menu that appears. When the flyout menu appears, click on 'Shortcut'. The Create Shortcut dialog box appears.
2. Click the 'Browse' button on this dialog box. The 'Browse' dialog box appears. You can navigate to the folder that says 'Program Files' and double click to open it inside the 'Browse' window.
3. Once you've opened the Program Files folder, navigate to the folder that contains the program you want to create a new shortcut to and double click it. Inside, you should find the icon for the program you're interested in. Click it once to highlight it, then click the 'Open' button. This won't open the program, but will place the entire path to that program, including the name of the program into the command line of the 'Create Shortcut' dialog box.
4. Click the 'Next' button. You'll now select a name for the shortcut. You can call it anything you want. Then click the 'Finish' button, and you'll see a new icon appear on your desktop that has the name you gave it. A little tiny curved arrow will appear on the icon, alerting you to the fact that this is a shortcut to the program.
Now all you need to do to start your favorite program is to click on the shortcut button you created.
Create as many shortcuts as you need or want.
